Original Green Insect Repellent Wristband
List Price: $4.95
Amazon Price: $1.00
Average Customer Rating: (6 reviews)
Editorial Review: A good choice for recreational and lighter-duty applications,The vapors from the plastic BugBand wristband form a protective shield around the immediate area, keeping insects a safe distance away. While many repellents are easily diluted or rinsed off with swimming or perspiration, the wristband just keeps working, up to 120 hours. It?s packaged in an innovative reusable plastic ?pod? which can be used to store the wristband and can be sealed between uses to preserve the active life of the product. The plastic band is designed with a patented break-away strap that snaps if it becomes entangled. It can also be worn on belt loops, hatbands, pet collars, fastened in tents, attached to baby carriages or applied to other areas where insects could be a problem. Several wristbands can be strung together to create a longer band

aphids, 2008-04-23
Does not work on aphids. Or the lower coacatostial stratum of blood sucking insects. Ineffective against Insect egg larvae as well (in hair).

bug band, 2007-11-08
Got here fast. Works good. Has a smell to it. Better then using spray on bug spray.

Love this at the barn, 2007-06-27
I hate to spray myself down with fly spray when I go to the barn to ride, or work with my horse, so this is great, it works very well, especially in the buggy mountains. I wear tank tops and get bit a lot, and this kept them away in an afternoon trail ride in the wilderness. I am very sensitive to bites and this may be a life saver. Also good for my 2 year old son, who I hate to use chemicals on, but is also very sensitive to the bugs. Great for everyone!

I'll Buy These Every Summer From Now On, 2007-06-10
I bought several of these last summer for my kids to use at camp. Eight hours a day, 5 days a week, for 8 weeks those kids were outdoors, in the woods, hiking, swimming, and doing crafts.
And I can count on one hand the number of bug bites they got the whole summer. And not one tick!
These bands are deet-free, and worth their weight in gold, as far as I'm concerned. I love Bug Bands!

Could be very Good but..., 2007-06-08
I purchased six of these bands for our trip to Costa Rica during the start of the rainy season. I usually get many mesquito bits when I travel to beach destinations so I thought these bands would be great. I did still get bits, I'm not sure how many there would have been had I not been wearing the bad on my ankle. I did get tired of the smell, but I felt if I took it off I would be eaten alive! They could be a little larger for ankle purposes, but I guess most people wear them on their wrists. If you are not really bothered by insects I'm sure they work great, but I had to wear deat spray as well.
